Viking Link is a major international energy infrastructure project that connects the electricity grids of Great Britain and Denmark. Spanning approximately 765 kilometres between Lincolnshire in the UK and southern Jutland in Denmark, the link enables the exchange of electricity between the two countries, helping to improve energy security, support the integration of renewable energy sources, and deliver more reliable and affordable power supplies. Developed through a partnership between National Grid and Energinet, Viking Link plays a key role in supporting the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.
